If prompted, enter your University login details.E nter your Lancaster University email address. When you open any office app for the first time, you will be prompted to activate the software.After Office is installed, click Close and Close again to return to the main Office 365 screen.If prompted, enter your computer username/password – then wait a few minutes for Office to install.Depending on your browser, click to run/open the installer file – alternatively, you may need to double click on the installer file from the Downloads folder of your device.In the top right hand corner of the screen, click Install Office, then Office 365 apps.On the machine on which you want to install Microsoft Office, go to lancaster.ac.uk/office365.Instructions for doing this can be found on Microsoft's help pages for Windows and Mac. If not, you can continue directly with the installation instructions.
If you currently have an older version of Microsoft Office installed, you will need to remove it from your computer first.
If you have problems with Microsoft Office on one of these devices, rather than trying to install it again yourself, please report a problem to ISS.
